ChinesePod, a product developed by innovative education startup Praxis Language, has been a leader in the use of podcasting for language learning. Enjoying a growing subscription base, Praxis is one of the most commercially viable education startups in China.

With Chinese language learning in high demand globally, there has been a rapid increase in the number of training providers offering such courses. A search for Chinese courses offers insight into the competition in this space. ChinesePod differentiates itself not only by its choice of delivery medium, but through the provision of flexible and interesting content. Lessons are designed around everyday situations, employing humour and timely content that is presented by fresh vocal talent.

ChinesePod and one of its stars (also company co-founder), Mr. Ken Carroll, have just been featured in the Financial Times. We congratulate Praxis on their continuing success, and hope to report on positive stories from more startups in the Chinese education sector.
